1. Legal Framework and Our Standards
This Accessibility Statement is issued in accordance with the following laws and guidelines:
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III — 42 U.S.C. §12181 et seq., which requires places of public accommodation, including law firm websites, to be accessible to individuals with disabilities.
California Unruh Civil Rights Act — Cal. Civ. Code §51 et seq., which prohibits discrimination by business establishments on the basis of disability and provides for statutory damages of up to $4,000 per violation.
California Government Code §11135 — Applicable to publicly accessible electronic information and services.
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act — 29 U.S.C. §794d, referenced as a best-practice standard.
Our target conformance standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines organize accessibility requirements under four principles:
Perceivable — Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive. Examples: alt text for images, captions for audio, and sufficient color contrast.
Operable — User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users. Examples: full keyboard navigation, no seizure-triggering content, and skip navigation links.
Understandable — Information and the operation of the interface must be understandable. Examples: plain language, consistent navigation, and clear error messages on forms.
Robust — Content must be interpreted reliably by assistive technologies. Examples: valid HTML, ARIA labels, and screen reader compatibility.
2. Current Accessibility Status
We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Below is the current status of key accessibility features on this website.
HTTPS and Secure Connection — Complete. All pages are served over TLS encryption.
Mobile Responsiveness — Complete. The site is fully responsive across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Readable Font Sizes — Complete. Base font size is 16px or larger and scales with browser zoom settings.
Keyboard Navigation — In Review. Core pages are navigable by keyboard. A full audit of all interactive elements is underway.
Image Alt Text — In Review. An audit is in progress. All new images are published with descriptive alt text.
Color Contrast — In Review. Primary text meets the WCAG AA minimum ratio of 4.5:1. A review of secondary elements is underway.
Page Titles and Heading Structure — In Review. A heading hierarchy audit is underway across all pages.
Contact Form Labels and ARIA Attributes — In Progress. All form fields will be updated with explicit label associations and ARIA attributes. Target completion: September 1, 2026.
Skip Navigation Link — In Progress. A “Skip to main content” link will be added to the page header. Target completion: September 1, 2026.
Click-to-Call Elements — In Review. Phone number links are being updated with descriptive ARIA labels.
Screen Reader Compatibility — In Progress. Testing is underway using NVDA, JAWS, and Apple VoiceOver. Target completion: September 1, 2026.
Video and Multimedia Captions — Not Applicable. There is currently no video content on this site. Captions will be required on any video content added in the future.
3. Known Limitations
While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across all pages, we are aware of the following limitations that are actively being addressed.
Contact Form — ARIA Labels: The contact form fields at gallolawgroup.com/contact/ may not fully expose their labels to all screen readers in all configurations. We are working to add explicit ARIA associations to every field. Target resolution: September 1, 2026.
Some Images — Alt Text: A small number of older images on practice area pages may have incomplete or missing alt text. A full image audit is underway and all alt attributes will be updated. Target resolution: September 1, 2026.
Third-Party Embedded Content: Certain third-party tools on this site — including map embeds and review widgets — may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we are contacting those vendors and seeking accessible alternatives where possible.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us. Your feedback directly drives our remediation priorities.

Developer Standards
Our web development partners are required to follow accessibility best practices in all new work performed on this site, including descriptive alt text, proper heading structure, ARIA roles and labels, and keyboard-accessible interactive elements.
New Content Review
All new pages, blog posts, and content published on this site are reviewed for accessibility before publication, including image alt text, heading hierarchy, link descriptions, and color contrast.
Third-Party Review
We periodically engage third-party accessibility consultants to conduct independent audits and provide remediation recommendations. Our next scheduled review is Q3 2026.
6. Formal Complaint and Escalation Process
We take all accessibility feedback seriously. If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility request, you may escalate your concern using the following steps.

Filing a complaint will never affect your ability to receive services from this firm.
